FAQ

Below is a list of questions frequently asked:

How do I send ashes or hair?

Once you’ve placed your order, you’ll receive an email with full instructions. Please place a small amount of ashes or hair into a secure, well-sealed container. Then pop the container into a padded or secure envelope and send it to us using any reliable postal service of your choice. For peace of mind, we recommend using a tracked service.

How much material is needed?

We only require a very small amount. For ashes, a teaspoon is more than enough. For hair, just a few strands will do. If you send slightly more, that’s absolutely fine — we’ll only use what we need and handle everything with care.

Will leftover ashes/hair be returned?

Yes. Any ashes or hair that aren’t used in the creation process will be carefully packaged and returned to you with your finished order. We treat all materials with the utmost respect throughout the entire process.

How long does the process take?

Once we receive your ashes or hair, the creation process typically takes 2–3 weeks. We’ll keep you updated along the way, and you’ll be notified as soon as your order is ready to be shipped.

Is it safe to post ashes?

Yes — it’s safe to post ashes as long as they’re secured properly. We recommend placing them in a well-sealed container and then into a padded or secure envelope. Many postal services allow the sending of cremation ashes within the country, but it’s always best to check your local postal guidelines for peace of mind.
